Duties
ROLE of the POSITION
This RPC specific position exists to create initiatives within the College of Fine Arts as they relate to Retention, Progression and Completion. The position will serve as the Advising Center's Student Success Collaborative Specialist and will work with the Director to create initiatives geared to raising the college's graduation rates and will also be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing SSC campaigns for the CFA. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining accurate and detailed student records; accessing and running SSC and MyUNLV reports; evaluating students' degree progress; assisting students with processing forms; interpreting and correcting degree audit reports; reviewing and articulating transfer coursework; referring students to appropriate campus resources; participating in on-campus and off-campus center and university recruiting events, as well as New Student Orientation, which will require occasional evening and weekend work.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Higher Education from a regionally accredited college or university (Master's preferred) and three years related professional experience in advising.
