NACADA
offers an institutional membership option which provides an opportunity
to extend advising information to new audiences on your campus,
thereby increasing the awareness of advising.
“Institutions”
are to be defined as a single campus; however, a single campus could
have multiple institutional memberships (e.g. each college or department
within the university campus could also have a separate institutional
membership).
NACADA
institutional membership includes:
- Only Official Representatives receive
full membership benefits, including member fee discounts for conference
registrations and publications
- One (1) additional NACADA Journal subscription
for the institution’s library
- Permission to electronically distribute
the e-newsletter, NACADA Academic Advising News, to 20 other campus
personnel who are not eligible for member fee discounts for registrations
and publications
An
institutional membership is $200 and
permits the naming of one "Official Representative". For
an additional $100 each, additional
“Official Representatives” may be added. Each will have
permission to electronically distribute an additional 20 copies
of NACADA Academic Advising Today and
be eligible for full benefits of membership.
To
apply for an institutional membership:
- Check the institutional membership category
on the application form
- Photocopy, complete and return the application
form for each "Official Representative"
- Mail completed forms together in
one envelope with payment
Institutions
must clearly identify the person(s) who will be Official Representative(s).
Only the Official Representatives will be
eligible for "member" rates for NACADA products (e.g.,
conference registrations, monographs, etc.) All Official
Representative applications must be submitted in
the same envelope.
If
an institutional representative is no longer employed by the institution,
membership may be transferred to another individual.
