TOUR # 7—SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4TH
A NIGHT IN COWTOWN – H3 RANCH & BILLY BOB’S TEXAS
7:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m., $68.00

Tonight the group will experience the city of Fort Worth (better known as “Cowtown”). Step back to the Old West and see restored turn-of-the-century buildings among towering skyscrapers and learn the fascinating and colorful history of the city. Founded as an army outpost in 1849 to protect settlers from Indians, Fort Worth has become home to legendary figures, cattle barons and rough and rugged cowboys. The group is headed straight to the Stockyards Historic District, once the second largest livestock market in the U.S. and today a major entertainment center. This charming area exemplifies the days of the Old West with lively western saloons, quaint shops and delicious restaurants.

Our first stop is Hunter Brothers' H3 Ranch, Live Hickory Wood Grill. H3 Ranch is founded on the rich and lively history of Fort Worth and the historic Stockyards District. In the 1800s, three brothers emigrated to the U.S. from Scotland with their parents. The brothers - William, Robert and David Hunter - enjoyed the opportunities and excitement presented to them in America's Old West. The name "H3" stands for the three Hunter brothers, who owned the H3 Ranch located in Nebraska. Descendants of the Hunter Brothers developed the H3 Ranch concept of great food cooked in front of guests in a relaxed atmosphere.

H3 Ranch has been named one of the best restaurants in the Fort Worth Stockyards. It offers delicious food that will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites - all served with a smile in comfortable, casually upscale surroundings. The group will enjoy a full barbecue supper with all the fixin’s.

Next, we are heading to Billy Bob's Texas (the largest honky-tonk in the world) for more Texas excitement. Your guests will love Billy Bob's - it is much more than a concert or dance hall - it's like an indoor amusement park! This 100,000 square foot facility boasts Texas-sized dance floors, a restaurant, over 40 bar stations, a souvenir shop as well as arcade games, pinball and pool tables. For the perfect souvenir, guests can take their picture on a stuffed bull for an extra charge.

Guests will have time to explore Billy Bob’s on their own. For guests that are ready to explore the famous Stockyards and walk off their dinner, a tour guide will be giving walking tours of the Stockyards District.

On Saturday, October 4th, guests can hear the amazing talent of Trace Adkins, live in concert, beginning at 10:30 p.m., at no extra charge—Adkins is currently scheduled to perform; entertainment subject to change. General admission concert tickets are included in the tour price. The Billy Bob’s house band begins playing at 8:00 p.m.

Group departure will be at 12:00 a.m. or at the conclusion of the concert, if earlier.

It’s an evening filled with hot food, hot fun and a hot time in Cowtown!
