A
committee should be assigned to formulate, distribute, collect and
tabulate evaluations. They should forward the tabulated evaluation
results (of the individual evaluations) to the next year's conference
committee (and as a part of the final report), along with a summary
of the comments. The on-line overall evaluation report can be sent
electronically to the chairs as requested.
Evaluations
are an important tool to use for planning the next year's Regional
Conference. Evaluations are usually accomplished by administering
a questionnaire. These questionnaires can gather data on:
- Individual session evaluations,
after each session. These can be placed in chairs before
the session and collected by a person or in a box at the door
as the people leave.
NOTE:
The Executive Office has a supply of the Individual Session
Evaluation forms with a duplicate that can be torn off and given
to the presenter on-site. A sample is included in this section
of the handbook. If this will serve your needs, contact the
Executive Office at least 6 weeks ahead of the conference and
we can ship them to you. For budgeting purposes, they cost 3
cents each. These will be ordered on your Registration
Supplies order form located in the forms list in the Regional
Conference Chairs Handbook
- Overall evaluation after
the conference is over. This will be sent electronically
to those who attend the conference. Here is a sample:
