Promotions and Web Page Development
Overview

Use of Logo Policy:

The proper use of the NACADA logo by Regions is a responsibility of the Region Chair.  A description of approved uses is located at the NACADA web site at http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/PolicyProc/AssoPolicies.htm

If you have questions about this, or any other NACADA policy, do not hesitate to contact the Executive office at nacada@ksu.edu.

Promotion is electronically delivered for the most part to NACADA members and usually includes:

  1. Monthly EO Highlights sent to all members which contain links to Region Conference Web pages.
  2. E-mail through the Executive Office to all members of Region (initiated by the Conference Chair and Committee)
    1. Save this date announcement (some regions also send this out in postcard format)
    2. Call for Proposals on-line system announcement to allow professionals in your region to submit proposals for concurrent sessions, roundtables, workshops, etc. This information can be sent by e-mail to all members of your region. If you mail a postcard, it can also serve as an announcement of the conference dates and place and point readers to the web page for the on-line submission process.
    3. Upcoming deadlines approaching
    4. Special announcments as needed leading up to the conference.
  3. Newsletter reports (submitted quarterly by the Region Chair)
  4. News releases on a local level.

The Region Conference Website is the focus of dissemination of information regarding the conference.  Keeping this updated is of vital importance.  Region conference chairs or a designated committee member, sends updates to the NACADA Liaison (matteson@ksu.edu) for posting to the website.  Please review the optimizing web page updates

link before you send materials to Diane.

Information is added to the web site as it becomes available, a registration form is posted there for duplication and the people fax them directly to the executive office.  E-mail announcements can be sent out to current and recent members of  your region at the request of the region conference chair/committee by sending the announcement to Diane Matteson matteson@ksu.edu.  Usually, we can send these out within 3 days, sometimes sooner.

If you desire to send out a printed piece, the approved template for conference registration brochures is located at the Regional Conference Chairs Information. It must include the NACADA logo in the upper left corner. Artwork can be included on the front panel. The registration page is a standard format which can be adjusted by the executive office staff if you have changes. The back panel should include a mail panel with an imprinted permit. If you wish the Executive Office to mail this piece, our return address and mail permit must be used. The postage will be charged directly to the Regional Conference account.
