As we plan for the 2010 NACADA Region 7 Conference, we look forward to the wealth of information shared by our colleagues. We encourage you to share your professional experiences and ideas by submitting a proposal for a presentation. The conference will be held March 11-13, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park , KS . The theme of the conference is a reflection of the Kansas state motto: “Ad Astra Per Aspera (To the Stars through Difficulty)”.

• Advising international students
• Advising students on probation
• Advising transfer students
• Advisor training
• Helping students find their major
• Innovative programs in advising
• Strengths-based advising
• Technology in advising
• The impacts of the financial crisis on advising (for students and advisors)

• Due to budgetary considerations, the conference is unable to offer complimentary registration or lodging for paper presenters.
• Commercial products are not to be promoted in NACADA sessions.
