8 Scholarships and Awards Program - 2010
Scholarships:
The
Region 8 Steering Committee is pleased to announce the availability
of scholarships for the 2010 regional conference in Seattle,
Washington! Ten scholarships will be made available to
current NACADA members, and each will cover the conference registration
fee.

and each will cover the conference registration fee. Members interested
in applying should complete the attached
scholarship form , print it off and fax (541) 737-3999) or
e-mail it to Nicole Kent - nicole.kent@oregonstate.edu. Applications
are due by 5pm (Pacific Time) on Monday, December 7,
2009.
Awards:
The
Region 8 Steering Committee is pleased to announce the creation
of an annual awards program to recognize excellence in advising
and advising administration at post-secondary institutions in
the Northwest. We are accepting nominations of qualified individuals
in the following categories:
• New
Advisor Award
• Academic
Advising Award
• Advising
Administrator Award
• Institutional
Administrator Award
Award
winners and
certificate of merit winners
will be given in each category, and all will be recognized at the
2010 Regional Conference. Award winners in
each category will receive a 1 year complementary membership to
NACADA. Members interested in applying should read
these instructions and complete the application/nomination
form by Monday, December 7, 2009.
