The National Academic Advising Association
provides many services and resources for its members and for the
global community of professionals seeking assistance to enhance
the development of students in higher education.
NACADA provides Electronic
list serves for global discussions of academic advising
issues. The list serves represent NACADA commissions and
interest groups, regions, states, and other advising groups focusing
on issues relevant to each population. Members find colleagues
willing to share what works and what hasn't worked when developing
policies and programs.
The NACADA
Academic Advising Consultants and Speakers Service (AACSS) matches institutions with experts
in the advising fields most applicable to the institution's needs.
Each consultant has specific skills and knowledge within
various fields of expertise. The AACSS provides a variety
of services at a reasonable cost. These services include evaluative
consultation, keynote speakers, and workshop leaders who can help
campuses achieve advising services goals.
Position
Announcements related to academic advising and/or student
services are posted and updated daily on the NACADA web site.
Announcements are categorized by location (within ten NACADA regions,
international locations (outside Canada), and non-region specific
areas). Other employment sites on the web are also
provided.
