Hello
all. Now that registration craziness had subsided a bit, I would
like to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Tina
McNamara, and I am the new chair for the Multicultural
Concerns Commission. I would like to encourage us all to work on
some of the goals we discussed at
our Commission meeting in Cincinnati:
- Increase the number of presentations
at the national conference on diversity issues and by presenters
of color.
- Use the N-MCC list more regularly for
discussion.
- Develop the MCC website to include resources
on diversity issues for MCC members as well other members of NACADA.
(Please send me the titles of print resources
and links to online materials—I will have them added to
the website.)
