Are you ready to have a great time, meet new friends, rejoin with "old" friends, and learn a whole lot? I am, and the conference is right around the corner (can you believe it?)!

We encourage you and invite you to participate with us in three commission-highlighted sessions. Please mark these on your calendars or highlight in your conference brochures:

Thursday, Oct. 7
7:30-8:30 AM - Commission and Interest Group Fair (Ballroom, 3rd Floor )
We'll be there about 7:00 to set up and we welcome any of you to "hang out" with us to greet potential new members.

Friday, Oct. 8
4:30-5:30 PM - Commission Meeting (CM 226) Room 268
We'd like to hear from you how the commission can better meet your needs. We have an idea to toss out about "mentoring" or "coaching". Also, come celebrate and meet our members who have received NACADA awards and recognition. Join us for saying "thank-you" to Alice for being our commission chair these past two years and greet Linda, the new chair.

Saturday, Oct. 9
11:15 AM-12:15 PM - HOT TOPICS: Avoiding Burnout, Room 263
We encourage you to come share your ideas, thoughts, and techniques for avoiding burnout as an administrator yourself as well as helping your advisors avoid it, too. We will have an informal panel of administrators to lead the discussion. Please bring one copy of any printed tips, recommended books, or useful activities that we can then place on our commission website after the conference.
