Professional Development and Recognition

Advising Business Majors Recognition Program — All Advising Business Majors Commission members will have the opportunity to be recognized at Annual NACADA Conferences for the extra effort/education put forward each year toward advising excellence for our students.  To qualify for the recognition – commission members must fulfill three of the personal development options below:

 

Presentation at NACADA event	Auditing a business foundation course
Attendance at NACADA sponsored event	Attendance at University Career Fair
Publication in the NACADA Journal	New program and assessment
Participation in NACADA leadership role	Student organization advisor
Participation in Advising Business Majors Commission	Instructor/Presenter, Introductory Business Course

Please e-mail the Commission Chair, Teresa D’Urso, at tdurso@illinois.edu if you qualify for the certificate.  Deadline to submit nomination is July 31st.
