Dear Commission Members,

As the spring semester draws to a close we begin to creep closer and closer to October and our annual national conference. As you may have heard, the NACADA National Conference committee has instituted a slight change in the program format in Cincinnati.

This year, NACADA wants each division to sponsor a "hot topic" forum on our final day of the conference, which will be Saturday, October 9. I believe that our concerns may vary widely depending upon the size of the institution, the availability of resources and the organizational structure for providing advisor training. I would like to ask members of the Advisor Training and Development Commission to step forward with ideas for our hot topic session.

Additionally, I would greatly appreciate someone with an interest in this session to volunteer to lead this discussion. If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing, PLEASE let me know by FRIDAY, MAY 14th, so that I may send the information to the conference planning committee.
