Platform Statement:

As the Director of the Academic Advising Center at San Diego State University, the knowledge I have gained through Regional and National conferences has enhanced the services and processes in our Center. I have also had the pleasure of attending a Summer Institute, where the intimate nature of the exercises allowed me to network and develop relationships with other members and leaders in the organization. As a result of my involvement with NACADA, I believe I have become a more effective leader and a more knowledgeable adviser. I would value the opportunity to give back to the organization by serving as the Region 9 Chair.

As Region Chair, I would endeavor to: 1. Continue to improve our high-level of communication through available technological means. 2. Work to increase membership to reflect the diversity and richness of our region. 3. Serve as a direct contact and voice of the region to the Executive Office and represent your voice and concerns fairly and honestly. I would be honored to represent you as the Region 9 Chair.
