The
NACADA Service to Commission Award was created to recognize an individual
who has provided outstanding service, leadership, and commitment
to a specific commission. Each
NACADA Commission that has been in existence for a minimum of three
years may select one individual each year to receive a NACADA Service
to Commission Award. A recognition plaque will be presented at the
commission's annual meeting held during the fall NACADA Annual Conference.
NOTE:
For the 2008 Service to Commission
Awards, the following commissions will participate
in the solicitation of nominations for this award — Advising
Administration Commission, Advising Business Majors Commission,
Advising Students with Disabilities Commission, Advising Transfer
Students Commission, Advisor Training & Development Commission,
Engineering & Science Advising Commission, Faculty Advising
Commission, LGBTA Concerns Commission, Multicultural Concerns Commission,
Technology in Advising Commission, Theory
& Philosophy of Advising Commission, and Two-Year
Colleges Commission.
