On September 14, 2018, the NACADA Board of Directors and Council sponsored a Virtual Town Hall to discuss NACADA's Advising Communities Division. A panel consisting of Board of Directors members and Advising Communities Division representatives shared information about the official launch of the newly restructured and renamed Advising Communities Division (formerly known as the Commission and Interest Division) and ways to become involved.

On August 17, 2018, the NACADA Board of Directors and Council sponsored a Virtual Town Hall to discuss NACADA's External Partnerships. A panel consisting of both NACADA leaders and representatives from three of our key external partners (Complete College America, Reinvention Collaborative, and Gardner Institute) shared their perceptions of how the organization and external partners are cultivating fruitful working relationships and then answered questions from participants.
