The Academic Services Counselor II serves as a liaison between the Athletic Department, undergraduate divisions, and administrative offices of the University. Provides personal assistance to all student athletes, assisting with advising, class scheduling and registration, ensuring that all student-athletes are maintaining satisfactory progress toward their degree, are informed of programs and services that will help them be academically successful and monitoring academic eligibility to compete in athletic events. Required to travel with a designated team.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in academic advising, teaching, or in a student services environment.
Prefer academic advising and/or higher education administration experience. Division I experience preferred. Familiar with student information systems, i.e., BANNER, SIS+. Knowledge of NCAA/SEC rules and regulations.
