Position Description
To coordinate the advising program, including placement of advisors; plan Advising events such as the Major Declaration Celebration and Advisor training; and develop and update advising tools and the advising website. This position leads the planning of Week One Advising programming and the coordination of Probation Advising programs and Transfer Student Advising, and provides direct services to students individually and in group settings.
Duties
Advise Students, Manage the Academic Probation Program and Ole PAAS Program, Coordinate Advising Program, Coordinate Week One Advising Program

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Higher Ed Administration, or another relevant field Experience: 5+ years of experience in coordinating student services, such as advising underrepresented students, mentoring, tutoring, supplemental instruction, study skills development, and academic coaching at a liberal arts college
