Position Description

Franklin Pierce University, College at Rindge, is seeking an enthusiastic new team member to join the staff in the Center for Academic Excellence as a Coordinator of Student Accessibility Services. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, exempt position reporting to the Director of the Center for Academic Excellence.


The successful candidate will evaluate documentation to determine eligibility for accommodations and will provide direct academic support to students who seek assistance. Duties also include developing workshops and presentations for students, faculty, and staff, serving on committees and task forces, and confidential record keeping. While this position is based in Rindge, it includes the coordination of accommodations at all of Franklin Pierce University's centers.

Required Qualifications

  • Between two to four years of previous experience working in higher education with students is essential.
  • Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a desire to serve students in a personable and professional manner.
  • A Master's degree in a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a high degree of digital literacy and adaptability, training and/or experience with learning management systems.
  • Have a solid understanding of learning theories as related to traditional and non-traditional students.
