Duties

Provide leadership and oversight of university-wide academic advising initiatives, the daily operations of the Academic Advising Center (AAC), and the AAC staff.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Higher Education, College Student Development, Human Services, Counseling, or a related field; 5-7 years of experience in academic advising or student affairs and at least one (1) year of direct supervisory experience; and, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must be detail oriented; have excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills; and possess organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving and follow through as well as time management skills. Requires flexibility and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while working well under pressure both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with direct supervision of professional level staff; experience with PeopleSoft, EAB Student Success Collaborative, and College Scheduler.
