A revenue generating position focused on recruiting a population of students interested in online graduate programs or other Distance Education offerings. Responsible for all aspects of the admissions recruitment cycle including extensive travel to recruitment fairs and conferences, communicating with prospective students and business partners to aid in recruitment. Maintains accurate records and works proactively with all stages of student recruitment from prospect identification through matriculation. Supports Distance Education Advisors as needed. Work location may be in either Unity or Portland Maine.

Additional Information: Full-time, calendar-year, exempt position. Due to the nature of this position, work beyond regular hours and travel (to include evenings and weekends) is necessary in meeting the requirements of the position. The employee shall establish regular office hours, and in consultation with supervisor, adjust the work schedule as appropriate. Must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling responsibilities and meeting the college's needs. Extensive travel required. Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree plus: • Experience in college admissions recruiting or sales preferred. Ideally experience in recruiting online graduate and undergraduate programs. • Valid driver's license with a good driving record. • Excellent initiative and organizational skills with ability to work both autonomously and in a team. • Great time management skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. • Ability and willingness to work with students from diverse political/socioeconomic backgrounds and a wide range of physical and academic abilities. • Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets and computerized database systems. • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college.
