Position Description

This position provides a unique opportunity to support UC’s Strategic Sizing goals by facilitating the University’s transfer articulation agreements, including associated online enrollment. The position is designed for creative, flexible, independent, collaborative work among many offices across UC as well as with external institution partners. Candidates should have a background in academic advising, credit evaluation, or highly collaborative student services with a strong desire to support student success. The position will also assist with supporting college credit services and the broader goals of the Office of Advising & Academic Services (AAS).

Duties

Coordinate development of articulation agreements and maintenance for traditional campus-based programs with a focus on feeder institutions in the region. Creation of articulation agreements nationwide in support of UC Online recruitment and enrollment efforts. Facilitate posting of advanced standing credit for UC Online students in cooperation with the Credit Evaluation team Serve as the AAS lead for UC Online Assist in establishing a quality credit evaluation process for online programs; both official and unofficial. Identify and implement processes and procedures to optimally support online program matriculation Provide education, resources and advocacy for the general advising needs of online learners. Identify opportunities to enhance academic services to online learners and participate in their deployment. Develop and utilize a broad understanding of the needs of online learners. Partner effectively with constituencies across the university including: colleges, program contacts/faculty, advisors, admissions, and other administrative offices. Utilize technologies that support credit evaluation, online learning, and student success as identified through the needs of the program. Monitor compliance with standards as related to distance education credit evaluation and advising. Generate reporting and data analysis. Conduct presentations and training sessions as needed. Provide additional support to Enrollment Management and the Office of Advising & Academic Services projects as needed, particularly in efforts related to transfer admission and advising.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate’s degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience. Experience must be in admission, registration, student services or a related field.
