Position Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Senior Academic RPC Advisor within the College of Fine Arts (PN 16346)


ROLE of the POSITIONThis RPC specific position exists to create initiatives within the College of Fine Arts working with and advising at-risk, under-prepared, probationary and suspended students as well as additional projects as assigned by the Director of Advising and the Dean as they relate to Retention, Progression and Completion and increasing the college's graduation rates. This position will also serve as the Advising Center's Student Success Collaborative specialist and will, in conjunction and consultation with the Director, be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing SSC campaigns for the CFA. This position will also be responsible for generating reports, maintaining databases and tracking student success.This position will have dual reporting to the Director of Advising and the Dean of the College.

Required Qualifications 
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Higher Education from a regionally accredited college or university (Master's preferred) and three years related professional experience in advising.SALARY RANGESalary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
