Be a Reader!

At key times of the year, ~300 members are needed to provide peer reviews of nominations and applications for all of our Global Awards and Scholarships.

This process usually begins in March and ends in July with periodic deadlines in between when readers are needed.  If you are interested in helping review the work of your peers, please email Dawn Krause, Executive Office Liaison to the Global Awards Committee.  We would love to have your input!

Time Commitment
Reviewing is done online and the time necessary to review each application can depend on the volunteer's level of expertise in advising and with our process.  If you have reviewed for any conference programs or awards at the regional level, then you will likely be quicker.  For new volunteers, dedicating 35-45 minutes to each application/ nomination package should be adequate.  We try not to assign more than 8 nominations to a reviewer.  If you can do more, let us know. Instructions are provided, as well as scoring rubrics and criteria.
