Region 9 Mentoring Program

Region 9 is excited to launch our mentoring program this year. This program is for members who are looking to network, gain professional development, develop an advising philosophy, learn about research or publishing strategies, or build skills to become a better advisor.

2023-2024 Application Process
The application for the program opens on June 26. The program will accept applications to be either a mentee or mentor until August 11. Once applications are reviewed, applicants will be notified and matched in late August.

Eligibility
Applicants must be a current NACADA member.

For mentees, applicants should have less than three years of experience as an advising professional.

For mentors, there is no requirement for years of experience, but it is preferred that mentors have at least 2 years of experience as an advising professional.

Program Length
This pilot program will begin in August 2023 and end at the 2024 Region 9 Conference
