NACADA's Advising Graduate and Professional Students LISTSERV

Please remember that subscribing to the listserv in not the same as joining the Advising Graduate & Professional Students Commission. While we welcome your addition to the listserv and to the conversation surrounding this student population, to join the commission, please log into your myNACADA site and modify your commission and interest group selection and memberships accordingly.

How To Subscribe

To join the Advising Graduate and Professional Students Commission list, simply follow these directions:

  1. From the e-mail account under which you wish to be subscribed, send a plain-text e-mail message to: LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KSU.EDU
  2. Type as the SOLE contents of the body of the message:
    • SUB N-GRADPROFCOMM Your first and last name (i.e.SUB N-GRADPROFCOMM Thomas Thompson)
  3. Delete any automatic signatures and send the message.
  4. You will receive an automatic confirmation of your subscription and instructions on the use of the e-mail list.

How To Post a Message

Send an email to the following address: N-GRADPROFCOMM@LISTSERV.KSU.EDU (you must be a member of the list).

Note: KSU listserv lists are no longer accepting file attachments. You now have a couple of options:

  1. Cut and paste the information from the attachment into the actual e-mail.
  2. Send the e-mail with attachments to everyone by typing in their individual e-mail addresses rather than to the list.

How To Unsubscribe

To leave the Advising Graduate and Professional Students Commission list, simply follow these directions:

  1. From the e-mail account under which you subscribed, send a plain-text e-mail message to: LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KSU.EDU
  2. Type as the SOLE contents of the body of the message:
    • SIGNOFF N-GRADPROFCOMM (i.e. SIGNOFFN-GRADPROFCOMM)
  3. Delete any automatic signatures and send the message.
  4. You will receive an automatic confirmation of your unsubscription.
