Global Awards Program

Our awards are designed to honor individuals and institutions making significant contributions to the improvement of academic advising within higher education.  The program goals are to:

  • Recognize outstanding advising throughout higher education
  • Offer a global advising rewards system 
  • Encourage wider support of advising personnel and programs
  • Ultimately improve advising services for students

All Global Awards have closed for 2017 and the winners were announced.  Many thanks to the Awards Committee, our nominees, nominators and readers for their efforts this season.  

Awards will open up for nominations for 2018 in December 2017.  Stay tuned!

Other Awards Deadlines:
  • Retiree recognition forms are due in early June. 
  • There are two submission cycles for Research Grant Proposals annually. Please visit the grant webpage to apply.
Awards Presentations
  • The Global Awards are presented at the NACADA Annual Conference held each fall in varying locations. 
  • The selection committee reserves the right to make no awards in a certain category.
