REGION 4 MENTORING PROGRAM

Welcome to the Region 4 Mentoring Program page! We are excited that you are interested in learning more about our program!

The program is designed to connect new advising professionals and graduate students with a seasoned mentor who has been in the advising/ higher education arena for four or more years. If you are a seasoned NACADA member then this is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the advising community and help continuously improve the roles of advising professionals.

The program goal is to increase inter-region communication in order to develop a culture of collaboration across institutions, connect colleagues, and create career advising professionals.

The vision of the program begins, and ends, with you becoming the best advising professional you can imagine. Whether you are a mentor or a mentee, you will learn from one another, grow as an advising professional, and establish and maintain clear goals that will carry you forward in your advising career.

Benefits for becoming a mentor or a mentee are outlined to the right. Prior to submitting your application, please familiarize yourself with the information listed in the timeline so you are aware of program and time commitments.
